Much of the attraction of Foxcote is due to its semi-rural setting enjoying some of the most beautiful riding and walking countryside, yet a short drive to the adjacent village of Andoversford with two public houses, a well reputed primary school and a local shop. It is also accessibly close to the Regency spa town of Cheltenham, the old Roman town of Cirencester and the attractive town of Stow-on-the-Wold, all of which offer excellent shopping and recreational facilities. Good local and regional shopping is found in neighboring Charlton Kings a mere four miles away. Schools in both the state and private sector are particularly strong for this area including the well reputed Cotswold School, The Cheltenham Ladies’ College and Cheltenham College with further schools on offer in Cirencester. For the commuter, there is easy access to the A40 making this an ideal commute to Oxford, London and Swindon. Trains communications are also excellent with services form Cheltenham, Morten in The Marsh and Kingham, reaching Paddington in 90 minutes.
