1/4" NPT 110 / 120-VAC (EPDM) Item Details- Great general purpose valve for almost any project.- Fast Acting. - Push on quick connect fits 1/4 Outer Diamerter Tube. - Low pressure and Gravity feed capabilities. - Normally Closed. (Opens When Energized). - No Polarity Connections Required. (+ & – are Interchangeable). - 12" wire leads. - Arrows on valve indicates proper flow direction. - Use in well ventilated areas when possible to increase the life of the coil. - Using a pre-filter can increase longevity of the valve and keep the diaphragm free from debris.- Can be mounted in any position. However mounting the coil in the upright position is best and will increase the overall life of the valve by keeping any debris from settling on the diaphragm which can affect sealing. - Leaving the valve powered on for long periods of time will reduce the life of the coil, like most solenoid valves the coil will become hot, but the temperature will stabilize without failure. (A normally Open valve might be a consideration if the valve needs to remain open for long periods of time).
