This is a vintage Ingento No. 1142 Guillotine Paper Cutter, circa 1950s. It was manufactured by the Ideal School Supply Company in Oak Lawn, Illinois. It has a 15 in blade, a hardwood surface, and a cast iron hinge. The working surface is 15 inches by 15 inches. There is a finger guard. The arm moves smoothly over its entire range. The blade is sharp. It cuts paper well. This paper cutter is in excellent condition.
