Btw, If the Leakage current is higher does not mean it is a bad part. Most High Hfe parts shows higher leakage current. Biasing right makes the noise level effective go down.Excellent sound...very crazy and sweet aggressive fuzz. Parts are NOS and 55 Years Old !!!! AND Still a TOP transistorAlways stored in Lab climate condition but the leads are not shiney anymore after 55 years.Leakage is depending on the Hfe and Temperature. For most distortion/tone bender/fuzz application this is very acceptable and do not give any problem in sound or noise level.Finding the right bias for the Ube for smooth operation is not too hard.
