They were designed for U.S. Special Operations. These specialized CBRN glove sets consist of two glove sets, an inner lightweight, breathable, SPM (Selectively Permeable Membrane) fabric, and an outer protective Nomex style cut and fire resistant glove set, which is longer than standard Nomex flight gloves. These sets are new old stock, military surplus, still in the original vacuum sealed bags. List price was probably well over $100 per set on these, easily. The outer Nomex glove alone is worth the price, the inner chemical protective glove set is worth far more.
