DESCRIPTION AMSL LLC Reference #500-584-tapper This listing is for a CAT50 Floating Tap holder. This tap holder was most recently used with the thin adapter sleeve seen in the photos for taps w/ 1.230" dia. round shanks. The only maker's marking appearing is on 2 of the parts are as follows: On the collet retainer nut is marked: TSD Universal 280681, And appearing on the collet insert: Acura-Tap 1-1/4 P. The thin adapter sleeve has no markings. The nose section is spring-loaded to allow compression within a range of approximately 1/2". Total projection for this arbor is approximately 6".
