Details: Delta Tip Tinner is designed for cleaning and re-tinning of highly oxidized soldering iron tips; and is available in both leaded and both high and low melting temperature lead-free alloys. Delta Tip Tinner is a mixture of solder powder and thermally stable, oxide-reducing compounds. Delta Tip Tinner provides better cleaning than a wet sponge or rosin-cored wire. Application: While maintaining soldering iron at operating temperature, roll or wipe soldering iron tip over the surface of Delta Tip Tinner for a short time. Prolonged contact may create excessive fumes. Under normal usage, the fumes are very minimal and usually stop within seconds after soldering iron is withdrawn from the Tip Tinner.
