This 18" steel barrel and 32 oz. capacity gun is perfect for applying Green Glue Damping Compound from the 5 gallon buckets. Comes with 3 plastic nozzles. Unscrew the front of the gun, insert nozzle and screw on. Cut the tip of the nozzle and insert about 1" of the nozzle into the bucket of Green Glue. Pull up on plunger slowly until barrel is full, then caulk out as you would with a standard caulking gun. Do not allow green glue to dry in gun. If you are stopping to work for more than 25 minutes, fill and dispense gun with water a few times than leave the gun full of water with the nozzle submerged in water (use a 5 gallon bucket full of water). When you are finished the gun can be unscrewed cleaned and reassembled. Apply a lubricant like WD-40 to keep gun running smoothly (lubricant can be applied during use as well).
