Make sure you get the correct one. These thumbs are great for grabbing things like rocks, logs, brush. Etc. If you use it in conjunction with a two-way valve at the end of your boom then you don’t have to remove the thumb to use other hydraulic attachments as well (like the auger, etc.). QUICK ATTACH: A nice upgrade that makes switching attachments easier. When you don’t have the quick attach, you will spend time trying to line up the holes on your attachments every time you switch it out. With the quick attach, you can quickly release the mechanism and switch out the implement. TRENCHING BUCKETS:8″ (200mm) Trenching Bucket: These Buckets are excellent for digging narrow trenches. Additionally, they are invaluable if you have hard and difficult ground that you are having difficulty breaking. Many of the smaller excavators on the market have a 13.5hp engine, if you are having difficulty breaking ground with a larger bucket, switch to this one so that all of that power is transferred into a smaller platform. 16″ Trenching Bucket: This is your general duty digging bucket for mini excavators. It is an excellent choice as it gives you a Wider trench than the 8″ bucket that is less likely to collapse back in on itself while you are working and trying to complete your tasks.
