Royalite R57 thermoplastic sheet is a fire-rated, rigid, ABS/PVC product specifically developed to meet Federal Aviation Administration requirements. It passes FAR 25.853b at 0.047″ and above. It is lightweight material with very high impact strength, high tensile strength and stiffness, as well as excellent formability and ductility. Cross References to Kydex 430, Boltaron 6530, 6540. Also commonly used in knife sheaths, holsters, heavy traffic wall coverings. Royalite R57 is a very tough durable material for high use, heavy traffic areas. Velour Matte Texture One Side, Smooth One Side. Can be thermoformed, attached to surface by mechanical means or adhesives. Can be painted with good results with common paints for plastics, such as Krylon Fusion, Duracoat, etc.
