Note: This BMS is a custom model that comes pre-assembled for easy install (no soldering needed) and is for Lithium-ion (Li-ion)/Lithium-polymer (LiPo), 3.7v/4.2v cells. Description:This BMS balance board is used for a lithium battery pack to equalize voltage and protect the cells. This module charges, discharges, balances, and acts as a low voltage/over charge cutoff. We have pre-installed a screw-based connection block for the easy connection of balance wires to the BMS. The BMS is assembled to use a COMMON Port setup for both charge and discharge at 60A (continuous) and discharge at 100A (burst). The following is the BMS Easy Connection Kit parts list:(1) BMS Board for Lithium-ion (Li-ion)/Lithium-polymer (LiPo)(1) Pre-installed balance wire connection block, 18-24AWG Wire Compatibility (4) Ring Terminal Connectors M3, 8-16AWG for Dual Wire Compatibility (2) Ring Terminal Screws and Nuts *Wires are not included. Balance wires of 18-24AWG will fit in the balance connection terminal and primary wires of 8-16AWG can be used in the ring connectors. Example Uses: 1. This balance module can be used in parallel with a BMS to boost the balance efficiency of battery/BMS setup. 2. Secondly, the balance module can be used without a BMS, and will keep the individual battery cells within healthy balance levels. 3. Lastly, this balance module can be used in place of a traditional BMS. In specific setups where a battery is connected stable voltage source such as a 12.6v charger or solar charge controller (12.6v) and the output is controlled by a low voltage cutoff such as a inverter. Description: This standalone balance equalization board is used for a #S lithium battery pack without a balance feature. This standalone module does not charge or act as a low voltage/over charge cutoff. This board uses a resistor to balance each cell to 4.15v/4.2v. This board can also be added to an existing BMS battery setup to boost the effectiveness of the balancing function by increasing maximum balancing capacity.
