It is a high temperature hookup/lead wire, composed of an 18awg stranded (16×30 stranding) NPC (Nickel-Plated Copper) conductor, covered with PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) tape insulation, then wrapped in a fiberglass serve then wrapped in a fiberglass overbraid treated with a PTFE high temperature finish.
