5 Channel USB Relay Module with Enclosure, Power Supply, and Cable
Our IOM2 USB relay modules connect via a USB port on a computer. Communications are via a virtual COM port created upon installation using an FTDI driver. Each IOM2 module can be equipped with from 1 to 8 relays. Up to 10 modules can be daisy chained together providing a total of 80 relay outputs. Relays are dry contact (SPST – Normally Open). Relays can switch up to 30 volts DC or 250 volts AC at 5 amps. IOM2 USB relay modules are all equipped with 8 digital inputs. Software applications can be developed in any programming language. IOM2 modules can be controlled by sending simple, discrete serial commands. Alternatively, a Windows DLL file (IOM2.dll) which encapsulates all the serial communication is provided. Examples of interfacing to IOM2.dll via Visual Studio (VB and C#) and Delphi are also provided. IOM2 modules support Pencom Design relay module commands. Consider an IOM2 module as a drop-in replacement without the need to modify your existing application software.
