Do not use larger outside holes. Drill 5/32″ holes, use No 6 screws. You may want to counter-bore the holes on the top of the turntable so that the head of the screw does not show. Pre-assemble the turntable to the Lazy Susan to make sure the self-tapping screws are the right length.
