FEATURES Excellent machining gives the product fine appearance and smooth surface. NPT threads strictly follow ASME B1.20.1 and SAE AS71051. All male threads are protected from damage by plastic caps. When removing these tight caps, you should turn and pull. Please do not turn the caps with bare hands because the edges of the caps may hurt your hands. High end raw material and cold drawing make the pipe fitting withstand 6000 psi, which is based on ASME code for pressure piping B31.3, process piping, at ambient temperature. 1,000°F / 537°C is the highest operating temperature the 304SS can stand up to. Stainless steel can not resist rust 100%. However, in normal atmospheric conditions except very aggressive environments, 304 stainless steel will not corrde.
