Gears are new manufactured to original specs from the same material with the same hardness as the originals. Interchanges with Delta Rockwell part numbers: “Worm Wheel” 428-02-051-5002 (Worm gear) and “Worm & shaft” 428-02-051-5003 (Worm) These gears should always be replaced in pairs. If only one is replaced is will wear out the un-replaced one quickly and itself very prematurely.
