Construction: Our Backhoe Thumb attachment is made strong with Grade 50 structural steel. It has a body that's 2/5 inches thick and support that's 1 inch thick to make it tough and long-lasting. Better Control: This attachment can handle lots of different materials because it has a 16-1/2 inch long jaw and a 3-1/5 inch wide opening. It's made to be useful for many types of materials. Please measure your bucket before purchase to guarantee a correct fit. A misaligned thumb will damage your backhoe because larger backhoes have more bucket power. For example, if you put a 25" thumb on a hoe that requires a 31", your equipment would most likely bend or shatter. Ensure that this thumb is at least the length of your bucket from boom to teeth, or the warranty may be voided if damaged.
