CarbonPro 100% 3K Carbon-Fiber Lower Replacement Rod, for Minelab Equinox 600/800 (by Steve's Detector Rods) CarbonPro's lower replacement shaft for the Minelab Equinox detector, features high-quality, 3K carbon-fiber shaft material. The shaft is offered in a vibrant, red/black color pattern, is 26" long, weighs only 2.9 ounces, and includes a high-strength, injection-molded lower section with rubber washers included. The lower shaft is compatible ONLY with our matching CarbonPro carbon-fiber upper shafts (for sale on eBay, but not included in this listing). NOTE -- these lower rods are NOT COMPATIBLE with the Minelab stock shaft, as they do not include the spring button necessary for attachment to the Minelab stock middle shaft. While new to the market, the foundation of our CarbonPro line of shafts rests upon several years of shaft-building experience at our parent company, Steve's Detector Rods. These shafts represent growth from our small, hand-made custom shaft-building operation at "Steve's," into larger-scale, factory production. While now producing shafts at larger scales, we remain faithful to our roots -- using the same tried-and-true designs, the same high-quality materials, and the same assembly techniques.
