AWG 20 Stranded K-type Thermocouple Wire with PVC Insulation - 1 yard or multiples of 1 yard - This is a k-type thermocouple wire with yellow PVC insulation, which is good up to about 105 °C or 221 °F. The temperature limit is for the insulation, it starts to soften. The wire itself can measure the full K-type temperature range, and when you use it as a extension wire it can be used with high temperature ceramic thermocouple sensors up to 2500 degree Fahrenheit. This k-type thermocouple wire can be used to make your own thermocouples for a wide range of applications, or to make your own extension wire. The chromel alumel wire is made to standard thermocouple specifications. This is a stranded wire with 7 filaments, it is more flexible than a solid wire and therefore especially useful for k-type extension wires. It is sold in 1 yard increments, so if you order 10 units of this, you will receive a single 10 yard long wire.
