This is for four 12,000lb max, 10,000lbs working skates made in Marion Ohio!! As of 1/1/2023 we have sold 7,565 of this model over 3 years with only 4 being returned by a unsatisfied customer over that time frame (they dragged a boring mill across an asphalt parking lot!) Skates are derated as a set because often only thee skates have weight as no floor is perfectly flat and the weight moves from skate to skate as the machine is moved. This skate uses thicker steel and larger bearings than our smaller skates. We buy bearings in the hundreds and US steel in 20' sticks to keep our cost as low as possible. The other skates on eBay are inferior Chinese steel and are completely subsidized by the Communist party. Condition is New. 5" long 5.5" wide 1.725" high Wheels are 1.60 OD Much lower than any other model on ebay, in fact 3" lower making it super easy to put under machine. The base is threaded with 1/2-13 (course thread) to enable it to be bolted to machine and prevent skate from kicking out. When bolted on skate can be steered by turning skate with crowbar and will not kick out We move Bridgeports , Mills, lathes, radial drills and boring mills with these. 5 ton a skate uniform load, loads can spike above skate rating on uneven floors so ensure floor is clear of debree and use sheet metal over large cracks in floor to prevent point loading wheels which can cause failure. Ratings are based on uniform bearing static load which 50% of dynamic load capacity. We are not repondsible for damage due to skate failure since we never provide guidance on use. Specifications are based on bearing static load ratings. No specification or engineering documentation are available.
