DESCRIPTION OF THE "RAT TAIL" SEAL: Each security seal is a "one use" seal which zips (tightens) into place and is non-removable without leaving a clear indication of tampering. The seal must be cut off -or- can be forcefully twisted off. Environmentally friendly, contains no lead. Quick and easy to use, no tools required to attach. Upon insertion, the seal's tail is held tightly by the seal's barbed teeth permanently securing the tail so it can't be withdrawn. Medium strength Polypropylene, unaffected by normal atmospheric heat and cold conditions. SPECIFICATIONS: Each seal measures approximately: The seal's flag (with it's 7-digit serial number) measures approximately 23/32" wide by 1¾" long (roughly ¾" x 1¾"). The seal's tail diameter measures .09" (it can pass through an opening as small as 1/10"), is 4¾" long (with a 3½" working / tightening length). Each seal measures 6½" from the top of the flag to the tip of the tail, weighs 0.057 ounce (1.62 grams), is manufactured from UV inhibited Polypropylene and has an average breaking point of 41 pounds. UNUSUAL FEATURES / NOTES: Each seal is different having its own 7-digit serial number.
