These JFETs were matched at a constant 72F degrees using a meticulous lab process. JFETs are inserted into a custom 90-socket gold-pin ZIF test jig (30 devices per test). A well-regulated and carefully monitored DC supply voltage of 9.00V (not 9.01V) is applied while FETs are allowed to stabilize for at least 5 minutes before testing. Current (Idss) and voltage (Vgs) are then measured quickly on a calibrated Agilent 34401 6-1/2 digit meter. FETs are matched in pairs to within 0.03mA Idss AND 4mV Vgs. In some cases, the matching is within 0.01mA and 1mV. The actual measured Idss and Vgs is noted on each packing bag. Octet matchis prioritized by Idss. Only a few octal-match sets can be achieved in a production matching run. When they're gone, they're gone. ..........
