The advantages allow us to bind nucleic acid better. Silica coating effectively adsorbs DNA or RNA nucleic acids. The impurities can be removed with a wash buffer. Finally, DNA/RNA is eluted into an elution buffer or water. The eluted sample can then be used for such downstream applications as qPCR or sequencing. A strong magnetic core allows GeneNano™ Silica-Coated Magnetic Beads to separate the solution particles with our magnets in under 5 seconds. This allows for easy processing with our magnetic racks. GeneNano™ Brown Magnetic bead technology can also be used with automated extraction systems for high throughput nucleic acid purification.
